Men's golf returns to Cal State Fullerton for the first time since the 2013-14 season after a four-year hiatus. The program won the university's first national title and produced the second national championship in the program's history, and the first since 2010. At 61, men's basketball is the second oldest sport in the school's history, after men's football, the only one of the four sports in which it has competed since its inception.

Women's football has won several conference titles and made a series of NCAA playoff trips over the past six seasons. The program has defeated the national number one ranking team on five different occasions and several of its alumni have since competed at professional level. The Titans advanced to the NCAA Division I basketball tournament from 2008 to 2018 and have played five times, including in a 1962 NAIA National Tournament final. In 2010, the second team became national Cinderella history when it reached the regional final of the NCAA tournament in the West.

Three Titans have won the Honda Broderick Award, and two of those athletes will coach at major college programs. The all-time leading scorer in women's basketball (1,843 points) is an achievement that only another team in NAIA basketball history, Cal State Fullerton, can claim.

The institution itself competes in seven men's and 10 women's sports sponsored by Cal State Fullerton. The Big West Conference's competitive profile includes the University of California, San Diego, UC Irvine and UC Davis, as well as the California Institute of Technology.

The Big West Conference has produced several NCAA champions in recent years, most recently in the 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons. The possibility of a fall season includes a shortened season, according to the CIF-SS, which was outlined in a letter from the league's athletic operations director, John L. Smith. According to the record books, the last time the season was changed was during World War II, when an official baseball and football playoff was played. As expected, it will not start in the first week of October but at the end of the 2016 / 17 season.

The football playoff semifinals were suspended last year because the California Department of Education banned high school sports activities until a doctor sent to the school deemed it safe to resume. The basketball playoff was postponed and the regular season continued as normal, but the football playoffs and semifinals did not.

According to the L.A. Times, Thurmond recommended that the school continue distance learning until March 31, but the decision to eliminate spring sports was made. In March, athletic director Jon Caffrey confirmed that his school's football and basketball seasons were over. FJUHSD Superintendent Scott Scambray announced on March 20 that the school would remain closed until May 1. Newsom clarified that "the school will remain closed for the rest of this school year," according to a news release.

While spring athletes will benefit little from the decision, CIF district representatives are pushing ahead with plans for the fall sports season. Volitude Sports is proud to offer a variety of sports events nearby, including football, basketball, volleyball, football, athletics, lacrosse and volleyball at Fullerton California High School, basketball and football at FJUHSD and other schools in the area. Participating in team sports is a great way to stay in shape and meet up with friends regularly.

The Titans play on several popular local courts and benefit from a common facility on campus - chipping and putting - with the men's team. Goodwin Field was completed in 1992 and expanded in 2000 and has become one of the most popular golf courses in the state of California. The Titans share the same golf course as the men's and women's golf teams, and the women play the nation's most challenging courses. As a student - athletes travel between institutions, the expansion has led to an opportunity for the followers of Titan Athletics to see and follow various media, including television, radio and web-based platforms as well as social media.
