Hey everyone, I'm on here because i like taking surveys and also am looking to meet people. I'm a very friendly guy and get along with all types of people. Sometimes I'm a real hard worker and sometimes I can be a bit of a slacker, depending on what is required of me. I enjoy both real life (activities, friends) and fake life (movies, books). In many ways, I'm a nice, "normal" guy, although like everyone I have my quirks. I'm honest and compassionate. I like to think I'm clever and witty. I can be sarcastic, but when I'm totally comfortable I'm mostly just goofy and silly.

I'm originally from Minnesota, but have lived in San Diego for 5 years now, and figure I'll stick around. I really like movies. I also like watching hockey.

I am 23 year old fun loving girl. I am outgoing and want to have fun in life. I go to UCSD and am majoring in computer science. I have grown up in San Diego and want to spend my life there. I love art and computers and I love going out and having a fun time. Family is a important thing for me. I love to hang out with all cousins because I grew up with them and they all know me really well. I want to travel the world and experience everything that i can come up on! As for my career I just want to find out about myself now in college and have fun and learn at the same time.

Until now my life has been 50% cerebral, 8% active and 2% social. I'm trying to boost those last two numbers by taking it out of the high "lazy bum" percentage.

I think of myself as a bleeding-heart libertarian, which is not just a political stance, but is pretty close to describing how I interact with other people...objective and distant, but helpful and caring. I think character and morality are extremely important, but not in a wacko-Christian way.

I'm from the south and, saving a love for fried okra, I don't fit the stereotypes -it would be nice if you didn't believe the stereotypes. I've lived all over the U.S., but I've been itching to permanently leave as soon as the opportunity arises.

Don't believe everything you read, even if I am the one writing it. I have many off days, just like everyone else. I have my on days, and when I'm on, I'm dead on. I'm shy. I'm not saying I'm innocent. In fact, the reverse. I trip over my feet and run into so many things. I drive too fast and I smoke too much. I have many ideas and thoughts that I keep to myself. If you ask me what I'm thinking, ninety-nine percent of the time I will tell you a lie.

They are the things you get ashamed of, because words diminish them â?? words shrink things that seemed limitless when they were in your head to no more than living size when theyâ??re brought out. But itâ??s more than that, isnâ??t it? The most important things lie too close to wherever your secret heart is buried, like landmarks to a treasure your enemies would love to steal away. Stephen King said that, and I couldn't agree more.

So, the following WAS true, but I am now a grad student at UCSD, studying anthropology, and enjoying the SoCal sunlight!

I'm a recent graduate from the University of Chicago now living on the northside of the city and starting my post-college life. I like poetry, large bodies of water, and listening to people's stories. I'm currently considering grad school in social work or counseling.

Also: I tend not to enjoy AIM or facebook chat because it's too distracting/obligating, so if you try to "chat" with me on here you may not get a response. If you send me a message you may be more likely to get a response--however, I am also really busy in my "real" life, so!

I'm a texture whore, especially when drunk. I know entirely too many random facts about too many things, but not a whole lot about any one subject, and most everything I know is completely useless. I swear I'm one of the last people with common sense- that has total complete and utter lapses in it at random times. I'm a cockfiend but not a slut. I'm obsessively and utterly an art chick. I'm not into placating, or complacency. It's almost always all or nothing with me. I think my intensity scares people- and myself sometimes. I can cook a creme brulee to perfection, but still have trouble with mac n cheese. I hate when people take things for granted, and I try my hardest to appreciate the people in my life no matter how long I've known them, and still see them as an individual. I can't remember my natural hair color, but it's been red now for about as long as I can remember. I think in a relationship people should be compliments to each other, none of this "complete me!" needy bullshit, be true to yourself first. Please. Intelligence is a huge turn-on. I'm way more likely to be attracted to someones mind than their body. Majority of the time I'm covered in paint and charcoal, and that makes me happy. I find myself telling people more and more often that, "I clean up real nice!". I have a huge vocabulary but unfortunately the only time it really manifests itself is when I'm either drunk and can't pronounce anything or when I'm really pissed off. I'm a genuine person, if I say something, I mean it. If you say something, you better mean it too. Words are gorgeous but if you don't have the action to back them up, what's the point? I've been told I'm an excellent listener, I think I just empathize too well with general human conditions. I'm too damn creative, I usually can't pass a shiny object on the street without thinking about using it in some crazy art project (though, truth be told I'll more than likely just end up hoarding it). The biggest insult ever is to compliment my looks then insult my intelligence, uberdeath if you do it in the same sentence. I'm terribly sexual. I can be goofy as all hell. My mind is always in the gutter, but I'm usually staring at the stars. I shower in the dark. I always have to have my toenails painted. I can't stand the sound of a button squeaking on a flannel shirt. I don't read nearly as much as I should. I have to run outside whenever it rains. If there's any body of water, I'm usually wondering if I can swim in it without getting in trouble. I'm so much more than all this...
